1. How do I download the Sports Engine App?  Please visit the Sports Engine Support Center to download the app on iOS or Android. 
    
2. How do I find my child's team in the app?  You might be logging in with the wrong email. Please login with the same email address used to register your child. Or, you do not have permission to access that team.  Please check with the parent/guardian who registered the child.  See steps below for being added as a guardian.  Please note, coaches cannot add a guardian - only the parent/guardian who registered the child.
    
3. How do I receive alerts and chat messages? Once you've downloaded the app, enable alerts under the Sports Engine app settings on your phone.

Add a Guardian from Your Account

To add a guardian you must be the owner of the SportsEngine account that registered the athlete. You can do this from your computer or mobile app (instructions further down). Here's how:

1. Go to your account profiles page and log in.
2. Select a Profile.
3. Find the Guardians box and click +.
4. Enter the email address of the new guardian.
5. Select the athlete profiles that the guardian should be able to manage.
6. Click Send Invitation.

The invited guardian will appear on the Guardians tab as Pending until they accept their invite. You can resend a guardian invite at any time by tapping Resend next to the guardians name. You will receive an email when the guardian has accepted the invite.

Add a Guardian from the Mobile App

To add a guardian you must be the owner of the SportsEngine account that registered the athlete. Here's how:
 

1. Log in to the SportsEngine mobile app
2. Tap Account from the bottom menu
3. Select the athletes that the person will be a guardian for
4. Tap the Guardians tab
5. Tap the plus sign (+) or Add Guardians
6. Enter the new guardian's Email Address
7. Tap the Checkmark to send an invite to the guardian

The invited guardian will appear on the Guardians tab as Pending until they accept their invite. You can resend a guardian invite at any time by tapping Resend next to the guardians name. You will receive an email when the guardian has accepted the invite.

ENABLE TEXT MESSAGES

To enable text messages, first add your phone number then check the box with the number under Notification Settings.
 

1. Go to the Account Settings tab of your user dashboard and log in
2. Click Add Mobile Phone if your phone number is not already there
3. Enter your phone number and click Submit
4. Check your phone for the validation code
5. Enter the validation code and click Submit
6. Check the box with your phone number under Notification Settings
